Fifth-wheel bike rack rules

Fifth-wheel support can include conditions that do not appear in the rack’s normal passenger-vehicle specification.

Support can have fifth-wheel-specific thresholds

Hollywood Racks publishes minimum tongue rating, vehicle length, GVW and axle requirements for RV Rider fifth-wheel use. Missing one of those conditions changes the answer.

Towable-RV limits can be lower

Swagman publishes reduced per-bike limits for some heavy e-bike racks when used on towable RVs. The normal road capacity is not automatically the right number.

Rack add-ons can remove support

Some modular racks lose RV support when extra trays are installed. Verify the exact number of trays and accessories, not only the base rack model name.

Use the checker for a specific rack. General rules are useful, but the manufacturer instructions for the exact regional rack variant and configuration always control.
